We went up to Peebles again last weekend to see Griff, Clare and Amy, and Ol, Amanda and new baby Duncan, and Kitty who’s back from NZ. Laurie delivered her usual mix of extreme affection and violence to Amy, but they seem to have kissed and made up.
For some reason we didn’t take [...] Gin’s got some project or other to do lots of walks this year, and Pip & I procured some grandparents to look after Laurie for a day and accompanied her for the 12 or so miles from Wye to Folkestone. It was a freezing blue-sky day and we abandoned the last few miles when it [...] We spent Christmas at the Mosses’ in Felixstowe. That was a long time ago, but I’ve been trying to do some fancy stuff with my website. It hasn’t worked, so I’ll just post the photos. Full gallery here.
Pip’s been putting Laurie to work again, this time modelling socks and booties for Katy’s new book (of socks and booties). You can see the proofs here.? Laurie’s the one on the pink bed in the white booties, and the one in the yellow spotty socks who looks like a boy. We’re still bathing Laurie you’ll all be pleased to hear – especially as she ends each day with enough food trapped in every fold, crease, nook and cranny to start a small compost heap. Here’s the evidence (of the bath, not the nooks and crannies – it’s far too messy to let a camera anywhere [...] Grandpa and Grandmarnier Moss have posted some of their photos from the holiday.
