Day three
Well I’m still in Margate hospital, and my leg is still on the gammy side, so I’m starting to get rather bored now.
The man in the bed next to mine managed to not shout Bert every thirty seconds all night, and also retained his dignity throughout, which was a big improvement on the first night.
Currently the nurse is trying to persuade the man at the end that he’s not at home, he’s not been at work all morning, and he doesn’t have to back to work right now (and right now is 7:15am not 4pm). This ward is called Cheerful Sparrows.
